Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend to students and part-time work. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative paths she could take. Lennox started out as a flute-player in the band Dragons Playground. The group broke up prior to their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talents program New Faces. She was the singer for The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. The band was where she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva that was out by 1992. The album received a lot of praise by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to an art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You Go...
